A live quiz game is a multiplayer quiz played in real time. With PickWhim Quiz, the host shows each question on a shared screen, players answer on their phones against a countdown, and a leaderboard shows who is ahead.
How a live round feels
The question appears with a short intro, then the four answers and a countdown. In the last five seconds the clock turns red. When time is up, the right answer is shown, and the leaderboard moves with a short suspense animation. After the final question there is a podium for the top three.
Game modes that change the pace
Points for every right answer, more for speed.
Right answers in a row earn extra points.
Players are put in two to six teams, and the team score is the average.
A wrong answer puts a player out. The last players standing win.
Tools for the host
Lock the game when everyone has joined, remove a player at any time, and filter rude nicknames automatically. Everything runs in fit-to-screen layout, so the host view works on a projector without scrolling.
